A fantastic documentary about Richard Avedon (1923-2004), an influential American fashion and portrait photographer. The New York Times said of him that “his fashion and portrait photographs helped define America’s image of style, beauty and culture for the last half-century”. He created iconic portraits of the stars by managing to capture their vulnerability and humanity lurking behind their public personality.
